We had 1 student and 3 teachers!

* We opened with the Hail Mary prayer
* We worked on prepositions, trying to flush out the difference between prepositions and difference ways to say the same thing:
** for ''Mis hijoas traten de server a la mis'' we have in English:
*** My two sons usher at the mass.
*** My sons help to usher at the mass.
*** My sons help with ushering at the mass
* this led to a discussion about multiple English word translations for Spanish words such as
** ''tratar''
*** to do
*** to try
*** to treat 
** ''servir''
*** to deliver
*** to bring
*** to help
*** also as a noun, for a Mass, at a restaurant, charity, etc.

* we had fun with slang expressions, including
** American slang
** piece of cake
** bring home the bacon
** make the donuts = 
** I destroyed it
** 360 degrees
** wear the pants
** king of the hill
** raining cats and dogs
** king of the hill
* Finally, we discussed American demographics, as people generally perceive culture through their immediate environment and their media consumption
** so estimates of Latin, African-American, Asian, White percentages of total population tend to indicate, through under or over estimations, those points of view
* Since one of our student teachers had tacos for lunch before class, we decided that next week would be Taco Sunday
* We ended with the Our Father
