Català: Icona de Simeó Estilita el Vell i Simeó Estilita el Jove (1699), originària del convent grec ortodox de la Mare de Deu de Balamand al Líban; avui al Museu d'Icones de Frankfurt del Main. A l'esquerra, Simeó Estilita el Vell sembla a punt de baixar del pilar, obeint instruccions dels ancians del monestir. Altrament, la imatge podria referir-se a un punt quan, a causa d'una cama ulcerosa, es va veure obligat a estar-se sobre una sola cama. A la dreta es veu representat Simeó Estilita el Jove.
